Hello
Good morning!
Hello. How are things? (Maybe don’t answer that on the federal level.)
Press on and be a good person, I say.
I don’t think I’ve read or heard such a reasonable comment out of the US for months, outside of Obama.
A couple more new releases:
KEN Mode – Nerve (Reptilian)
Brasstronaut – Brasstronaut (Hybridity)
Good morning.
For anyone in need of cheering up, I offer you this fat bulldog playing catch with himself:

@Loozr, and in return I give you this advert

Merry Christmas, sweetie! It’s a trampoline covered in badger turds!
@DBS, According to Brasstronaut’s album doesn’t come out until December 2nd (February 27th in the UK) and they don’t seem to know anything about Ken Mode’s 7″EP
Good morning everyone!
Hi Justin
I have been doing a ton of reading about the election here in the US. The really big thing I have come away with. Is that Democrats did not listen as well as they should have to those, mainly white, who were economically in a bad place. Bernie tapped into that. But once Hillary won the nomination that faded away. And as bad as Trump is, he hammered away on that message of helping the economically depressed middle class, and they voted for him in states that typically go Democrat. Always good to learn, or re-learn. I am very concerned about the next four years. Conversely I am doing my part in being optimistic and involved. I love my home, as it is my home, and will fight for it to be the best it can be. But, along with fighting, is doing my best to be open minded and listen to others, to be compassionate, but certainly not have pity.
justin, that’s really good, no-one could ask more of you. My FB page is already registering “don’t cooperate with him at all” statements, which I think is not helpful… Like those demos, last night. Understandable, but not helpful.
@BfO, many thanks. I think the trick here… Is to fully listen to others, especially if they have a different viewpoint than I would have. There is an opportunity to learn from each other. Even if the person is angry or hostile, still a chance to learn. It is the ‘silo’ effect that gets us in trouble where do don’t see others outside of our own values or viewpoints. With this, doing our best to have mutual respect from all points of view people have. IMO we should respect others, even if they don’t respect us back, which can be really hard at times. Keep in mind, when I say respect, that means we still stand up for our own principles and stand for what we believe in, but not insult back even if we are getting yelled at, that’s a worst case scenario.
Agree
Ken Mode’s tweet:

I heard someone explain that, while his supporters didn’t believe he would do exactly what he said (Wall etc.) the rest of us believed he would so we didn’t take him seriously.

One thing I have learned about US politics. Is the personality and believability really matters here. Policy is purely secondary. That is why Reagan won, George Bush senior did not (2nd term), Obama did well, etc. While I don’t like Trump, his personality was very compelling for some, many felt Trump was on ‘their side’. Hillary on the other hand to the public was ‘meh’ to repulsive. I cannot speak for Canadian politics. I have my outsider opinion but it’s up to you all to determine.
Ken Mode EP isn’t on Amazon.ca but it is on Amazon.com
