The Earl of Whitchurch in Stouffville, Ont., is celebrated St. Patrick’s Day just like any other pub — with live music and booze. Except that when it was time for last call, the doors won’t close and the music won’t stop — for at least another 16 days if all goes well.
And Finally
Coverage from The Earl of Whitchurch in Stouffville, ON (if I can keep the link up to date)
Hello
Good morning!
Good morning!
Good morning.
That pub doing the “longest concert” thing is pretty close to me… I’ve been meaning to get up there to check it out at some point, but I don’t imagine I’ll be able to do so at a time that’d helpful to them keeping up their audience quotas. I’m frankly amazed they seem to have made it through their first weeknight graveyard shift. As the article suggests, Stouffville, unlike Vegas, is not the kind of place where you typically find many people in a pub at 4am on a Wednesday.
@Loozr, I would love to attend that but it’s a bit far.
With my luck, I’d end up catching a jazz act…

There’s a lot of buzz about that Stouffville event.
The stipulations are a little nuts. I might be checking it out sometime before it ends.
If I were closer to Stouffville, I’d check it out, sounds cool
@Janet, we will just have to make do with the youtube feed 🙁
I feel like that is how I get a lot of my Canadian content 🙁
I hope the buzz translates to butts in the seats when they’re needed. I still haven’t been able to figure out how / if they’re organizing ticketing. Like if I show up at 3:00 on a Tuesday afternoon, am I going to find them filled to capacity or desperate for people to bulk up their audience through the midday slump? How about 10am? Is there any way to find out without getting in the car and driving out there? Hmm, I wonder if you can guage the crowd from the video feed? I should check that out…
Hmm, nope, only seems to show the stage.
@loozr, you could always try phoning them
I suppose I could resort to that, yes.
A Canadian photographer and comedian has admitted posting explicit images of women along with their names on controversial internet forum 4Chan.
Ren Bostelaar apologised for his actions but said the photos had already been posted elsewhere on the net by the women themselves.

Hello all! Crazy busy days in my life right now.
Only one of those 4 in the Searchlight finals were ones I voted for. Yay for those Sask girls in The Wolfe!
The prodigal DarBar returns
the word doesn’t meant what I thought it did
I can be prodigal at times but not this time. hehe
How did the course go?
The course went well. Devin was glad to finally get day 2 in. The plays and the improv helped him a lot since he was last there.
I guess most participants don’t get that much practice between day 1 and 2
haha! nope. He wants to do the next level that is next month. It would be good to get moving on that.

I will leave you with this
On their way to get married, a young Catholic couple was involved in a fatal car accident.
The couple found themselves sitting outside the Pearly Gates waiting for St. Peter to process them into Heaven.
While waiting they began to wonder; could they possibly get married in Heaven?
When St. Peter arrived, they asked him if they could get married in Heaven. St. Peter said, “I don’t know. This is the first time anyone has asked. Let me go find out,” and he left.
The couple sat and waited for an answer… for a couple of months.
While they waited, they discussed the pros and cons. If they were allowed to get married in Heaven, should they get married, what with the eternal aspect of it all? “What if it doesn’t work? Are we stuck in Heaven together forever?”
Yet another month passed before St. Peter finally returned, looking somewhat bedraggled.
“Yes,” he informed the couple, “You can get married in Heaven.”
“Great!” said the couple. “But we were just wondering; what if things don’t work out? Could we also get a divorce in Heaven?”
St. Peter, red-faced with anger, slammed his clipboard on the ground.
“What’s wrong?” asked the frightened couple.
“OH, COME ON!” St. Peter shouted. “It took me 3 months to find a priest up here!
Do you have ANY idea how long it’ll take to find a Solicitor?
LLOL.
The extra L stands for “lliterally”.
That extra L is a typo.
