Music Heals And Brightens Up The City Of Montreal!
Last week, I had the pleasure of attending a benefit concert held at Centre Pierre Charbonneau organized by father daughter power team Christina and Johnny Capobianco. Along with Johnny’s Grand Show Band and guest performers such as guitarist Albe, house of Jazz’s Snooky Alston and up-coming young singing sensation Arianna Ianniciello, hundreds of attendees raised much needed funds for the Generations Foundation whose mission is “to develop and administer programs which will help improve the quality of life for persons of all ages.
‘Bankrupt’ Pemberton Music Festival Faces Fraud Accusations

Good morning!
Bad scene in Manchester, eh?
Yeah,
I would never have thought I would look back at the IRA and think, at least they gave telephone warnings to get people out of the building (sometimes).
Yeah, geez. “Good ol’ IRA…”
Hello! Such terrible news out of Manchester.
Good morning!
Mostly…
Actor Sir Roger Moore has died

Roger Moore’s death is not, at least, tragic. More of an end-of-life, really.
Good morning everyone! And… Manchester… ugh… I am so sorry about this.
G’day. I’m back, among other pointless facts.
Terrible way to commemorate Queen Victorias birthday weekend. Sad times.
Nice John K Samson to sooth the soul
Hello all! I hope you had a good weekend.
Sad news from Manchester indeed. 🙁
How can I get any work done with all this chatter? :p
I am outside bathing the dog, watering, transplanting, laying soaker hoses etc. I came in to write up the grocery list for the next big adventure of the day;) Prepping to pickle asparagus later in the week too. I will need a new play list for that BTW … so I will plan on pickling on Friday!
Busy busy busy you are. I better get to work on the playlist! My plan was to find music from the north. The Jerry Cans will be on there for sure. We shall see what else I come up with!
Jerry Cans are great! They will be at Kaslo Jazz Etc Fest this summer, as well as Tribe Called Red. So far I can not get the days off for the fest so I am pretty agro about that.
I can just imagine the aggro I would have. It sounds like a good time will be had at Kaslo. I hope you work something out.
me too. i don’t like it when people get between me and my music!!!
on the up side Suki sure was a lot easier to bathe today after she had her CBT crunchy. Poor pup is getting quite old so doing what I can to keep her comfortable.
Aww Suki. I have an old cat that won’t be around for much longer. 🙁
She is basking in the sun now … kind of steaming after her tub. She seems pretty happy and comfy. A couple of short walks a day and a few minutes of chase with the ball at night seems to be where she is at now. The meds for the congestive heart failure, puffer for the lungs, pain killers for the bone on bone spine plus the antibiotics for the UTI are all doing their jobs. The antibiotics make her a little green but only ten days left on that. My fur girl!
What is up with your feline? Old is hard …
I took this cat in for a friend. She is about 17 years old and started having some troubles. It began with a UTI but now her and the other cat can’t be in the same room together without fighting. She doesn’t eat or drink very much but seems better than she was. She doesn’t seem to be having much of a life right now though. I wasn’t sure I should be paying for the first vet visit and now I will have to pay for putting her down. The friend hasn’t offered any money but I might have to straight up ask her. I am not sure I could handle all you are doing for Suki. Good for you.
