And Finally
From the aformentioned youtube channel
Hello
I know the “vinyl revival” has been done to death but I thought the size of this collection was worth mentioning
Good morning!
Hey ho!
Greetings and salutations!
How is everyone’s Tuesday going so far
?
I’m out into the cedar hedge (that flanks one of the sides of my little house), to trim what I didn’t get a few days back, and what’s popped out anew. Maybe I’ll mow the lawn too.
Bucolic.
keep taking the tablets and that bucolic should clear up in no time
garf: waiting for Moses now…
My Tuesday is good. Trying to get some work done before a deadline on Friday. Normally I’d probably not start until Friday morning, but I’m trying to change some work habits that are grounded in procrastination.
Hi All! @Benoit I was at that wedding in Belvedere QC on the weekend (the one I mentioned a few weeks ago, about 5 mins east of Wakefield). Wow, what a beautiful area!
Also still didn’t get me t-shirt yet, I need to make some more inquiries
@Wynnzie, did they email you with a tracking number for your shirt?
Yes, I noticed a few weeks ago that the tracking said “Has Arrived in Destination Country” “Delivery Shortly”. Now when I check it there’s a notice that this may not be correct as they are having technical issues with tracking, it says “please be assured your delivery will arrive shortly” so I guess I just wait for now.
MW, 7:18, yes it is. All that area of Québec north, n-w and n-e of Ottawa is very pretty Laurentians.
I’m watching the CBC announce the new host of The National. So far they’re on the second speaker before the person actually supposed to make the announcement steps to the platform.
Apparently that should be hosts. Still no announcement, but changes are coming to the National
I’m still not sure how the format will change, but Adrienne Arsenault, Rosemary Barton, Andrew Chang, and Ian Hanomansing will be hosting.
So 2 out of Van and 2 out of Tdot?
Thanks Janet, I had forgotten about that announcement
Hanomansing is moving to Toronto, and Barton will be in Ottawa covering politics. I don’t know anything about the other 3 but used to watch Hanomansing do the lunchtime news on CBC in Halifax many many years ago
To better answer your question, Garf, that will be 1 in Vancouver, 2 in Toronto, and 1 in Ottawa.
I think each time zone will get the National live at 10pm, with live updates as they happen.
Andrew hosted the local news hour out of Vancouver and looks to be based there
Rosie is staying in Ottawa with Adrean and Ian working out of Toronto
Is it me or did Rosie look a bit pissed at having to be nice to Ian?
I didn’t really notice, but I was trying to do multiple things while the announcement was being made, so I wasn’t paying close attention.
Nice music updates. Thanks again Garf.
You mean people actually read the stuff I post!?
I was hoping to let the Raccoon have a go at creating content. He has been practising with his cookie blog.
Yes they do Garf and appreciate it!
Raccoon might have to have a separate blog.

like this one?
Haha! Yup.
Lana just played the new Yukon Blonde on Indie88, I like it!
Nice!
Printer troubles at work again. So frustrating when things don’t work.
is it the big one?
Yes that one. It seems another printhead has gone. Hopefully it will come in tomorrow so I can continue printing then.
Do you have any other images to work on or is it an early home time?
I have lots of other images to work on in the meantime. 🙂
that’s
a shamegood, we wouldn’t want you to be boredI’m guessing new heads aren’t cheap
I think they are pretty costly for it. There are 6 of them and once one goes the rest will probably soon follow.
There is a long weekend coming up I am looking forward to some rest and relaxation on.
I wonder what I should do for Monday if Canada (and Scotland) have the day off
Hmm. Not sure. There should still be the usual honourary Canadians and ex-pats around.
You could do the open post where anyone who is around can comment. Or make an announcement on Friday that the Friday playlist thread will also be Monday’s thread, since Canada and Scotland are going to the cottage.
That might be my Ontario bias showing, but that’s what everyone did on the August long weekend when I was growing up.
Or we could let the Raccoon have a go on Monday? (my money is on letting Fridays post stay up on Monday)
I was thinking of doing another addition to the Stream of Consciousness playlist this week. We could keep that going for Monday as well. I may have to update the playlist later though.
sounds good to me
I am so sleepy right now. I keep nodding off sitting here at the computer.
You need coffee (or a nap)
I will leave here in half an hour or so. I think I can make it. Biking home again. I have missed a little bit of biking due to schedule and weather but it was a nice ride to work this morning.
The ice cream truck outside my window played “O Come All Ye Faithful” followed by “Jingle Bells”. Christmas in August!
It’s usually the match of the day theme here

I guess whatever makes a vaguely electronic, twinkly noise to get the kiddos to want ice cream, eh?
We also have that ice cream truck (the same one, I swear!). Plays indiscriminate tunes that all sound done in eight-bit. Awful.
It’s always been either that or green sleeves here for as long as I can remember
I think we have had this conversation before but somewhere else
