Created with lights, smoke bombs, and powdered dye in an abandoned power plant on Vancouver Island, and leaving the bands equipment covered with the stuff ever since. But, as you can see in the visually stunning music video that accentuates and captures the energy of playing live below, it was worth it!
The song itself comes from their latest EP ‘Tempest’. This album represents more than just Band of Rascals’ combined musical preferences: It’s the result of years of hard work, friendship and differences, and the experiences they’ve held together as a band.
hello
Good morning! It’s not raining here (yayyyy!), but the ground is completely saturated. And, slowly, we’re (unsurprisingly) heading into winter. Sub-zero (C) coming both day and night on Wednesday or such, will moderate again, but… And there may be snow…
So, yet another mass shooting in the US, and #45 says it’s not a matter of guns, but of mental trouble. It amazes me how often a losing talking point like that is put forward, and gets to be, at the time, the last word on the matter.
Good morning!
Hi Russ. How are tings in Dee Troyt?
All good here, fall finally fell.
Greetings and salutations!
Funny how mass shootings are about mental health when the shooter is white, and terrorism when the shooter isn’t, but never actually about gun control.
Fall
Finally
Fell
The Japanese would love it.
The hai- killed the blog. (It’s not long enough to be called a haiku.)
Hello again
It’s the undead!
Where!?
Back there.
Fall was kicked to the curb here last week. Sideways freezing wind with a little snow for two days then a few more days of on and off snow without the wind. Today looks beautiful with a blue sky and on the warmer mountainsides the snow is melting a little so you have a light blanket of white over the green but patches of yellow and orange from trees that were not shaken of all their leaves.
Sorry I was such a rule breaker with the game on Friday. Somewhere along the line I decided that the band name could be used as well as the song title.
@b from o, @janet the humans holding those weapons need help and not such easy access to the weapons in my opinion. What a mess.
sorry for my lack of input today
I was pretending to have a life
@Morgana, it’s true, lots needs to be done to limit access to the weapons for individuals with a history of mental health problems. Unfortunately the issue is so politicized that it’s hard to even get a conversation going.
@garfielduk oh no you don’t! me too though. if you consider buying food having a life that is. on my way out for exciting things like groceries.
BTW I took another stab at completing the Side Door host form last night. It did not work again so I have asked them for help. Anyone else think they might like to host a show?
http://sidedooraccess.com
the highlight of the next 24hrs for me is seeing what they have done with The National
I would like to host a show but I asked when I moved in here and got a no
I have not asked …
I’m sure the boss would say yes if you asked her
I like the idea of hosting a show, but I’m not sure I know enough people to attend to make it worth the band’s while. Me and my sweetie would make an odd show atmosphere.
I think the band would promote it as well
Suki would be ok if it was over by 10pm or if a supply of dried salmon skins was included in the contract.
There are a lot of details as to how they help with the promotion and what is expected of you as a host on the site. Many options/variables. Do look into it @janet!
or cat treats
well as soon as i have a date i’ll let you know so you can bring them!
off for errands now!
bye Morgana!
I might have to look into hosting then, and check with my neighbours…
I’m headed out now, talk to you all tomorrow!
