I couldn’t find any large releases this week, just the 4 smaller releases above.
Next week we will take a look back at some of the best Canadian albums to have been released this year as well as looking forward to some of the big releases expected next year. Let me know in the comments below what you loved that came this year or which albums I missed.
Good morning!
Hello
Hello hello! Ottawa is pretty cold this morning, 22 below in the Celsius, or minus 7 on the Fahrenheit scale.
Yesterday morning, I biked back home in the fairly early morning; it was 17 below or so, and very windy; that took about 35 minutes. Bit of a stiff start to the winter season, good thing I have the right clothes. Truth be told, by about two-thirds of the way, I was fully warmed up and enjoying the ride.
Greetings and salutations!
I just manually added the Wild Raccoon Podcast to my iTunes but I am thinking of adding it as an actual podcast so it is available via the iTunes podcast service. What do you think?
Hi Benoit, salut Janet
I like it.
I’m on board with adding it via iTunes!
I am still working out how to play podcasts on my iphone 4 (I may have removed the app) but if you want to add the basic feed to iTunes manually the link is

ah ffs, my iphone is too old for the podcast app and they don’t offer the older versions
Hello all! Back at this computer today. I have started working for another photographer as well and there is no way I can be on here at that job the way the work space is set up.
Great job on the interview Janet!
I am hoping to have my Best of 2017 playlist done for December 29. New Releases playlist is tomorrow and a Holiday playlist is on the 22nd.
Welcome back, Darbar!
Sorry about your phone troubles, Garf.
Thanks Janet, I will live, I have heard tell that it is a terrible pocast anyway
It’s OK Garf, I’m a Certified Apple Genius and I can assist with your problem. It looks like your phone is not meeting its planned obsolescence schedule. To ensure a high quality experience, all our products are designed to self-destruct as soon as a new version comes out. However, sometimes despite our best efforts our products will outlast their intended lifespan. If your phone does not burst into flames on its own within the next two weeks, I recommend the following corrective action:
1) Grasp the corner of the phone between your thumb and forefinger, and hold your arm straight out at shoulder height.
2) Release the phone and allow it to fall to the ground.
3) If the phone is still operational, repeat steps 1 and 2 over a harder surface.
4) Say “oops, it broke!”, and purchase a new iPhone X (TM)
Garf, I think you have bad info, I really enjoyed the pod!
Haha Loozrboy! That should do the trick.
I am off again but will be back later!
@Loozer, I will be sure to follow your instructions as soon as Santa drops off a more up to date iPhone for me but until then I am stuck with this one, To be fair, it was out of date when I bought it 3 years ago now.
@Janet, I am just going by what Mrs. Raccoon told me about her sons show.
Good morning everyone!
Hi Justin
The questions British people ask most about the rest of the world
I ask myself the same question that the Brits ask about the US.
I think a lot a Americans do as well
Oh, I’m sure you’re right about that.
And I am back. Whew.
@Janet, The Americans I talk to do
The bad news is that the FCC just voted to fuck up internet access in the States.
The good news is that if the CRTC* plays their cards right, a lot of the services currently running on US servers might move to Canada.
*I’m guessing they regulate the internet in Canada

and as much as I like F1, this makes me happy
F1 ‘grid girls’ under ‘strong review’ – how did you vote? – http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/42346331
Garf – Sorry, I didn’t mean to sound quite so snarky in my comment about guns. I really do agree that there are a lot of Americans who wonder why they love their guns so much.
I’m headed out for a meeting, but will check back later to see if anyone is online
See ya later Janet.
I am not here, I have a life (who am I kidding?)
