Good morning! Not here today, off to the family cottage once again. Well, in half an hour or so.
Hello
Hey ho. Did you end up getting a lot of wind etc., or just some?
I didn’t get any wind (the tablets must have worked)
Good morning!
Hello hello!
I just wanted to say thank you for your comments on yesterdays post. I added my own feelings this morning if anyone is interested.
Garf – are you able to connect to a keyboard again?
I am indeed behind a real keyboard on a laptop today. Yesterday’s post came from a kindle fire.
The housemate was due to swap over hard drives in the computer I was using (take his out and put mine in) but while reinstalling windows on my hard drive he wiped all of my data on there, needless to say I am not happy. He has spent 2 evening trying to recover the data.
I had a database of all the CD’s I had owned but it was on that drive.

Ouch Garf! And no backups done before that?
Hello all!
Ugh, Garf, I’m sorry to hear about your computer troubles. Hopefully you have a backup somewhere that can help your recovery!
@DBS, I have a very old backup online but I won’t know what is missing
One of us in this house has an actual degree, I asked that person to pick up some fries on the way home because I have cheese curds and proper gravy to make poutine. He came home with cheese fries. *facepalm*
Poutine fail.
I don’t know how much longer these curds will last, someone keeps eating them when I go into the fridge.
Can you blame the dog?
I could but he can’t reach the fridge door handle
that and the fact I can never win an argument with the dog
Well, there goes that idea. I wonder if one of your neighbours is sneaking in when you don’t notice, and grabbing a snack?
yeah, that works for me
Good morning everyone!
Hi Justin
holy formatting! comments are posted with one word per line for me. I have tried leaving and coming back. Oh well, I am usually the one who has weird computer stuff so here goes another year of it
I have been listening to Jenn Grant a lot lately. I bought tickets for a friend and I for a Christmas gift. It is not until February but looking forward to it already. She got us tickets to Josh Ritter. We laughed that we got each other show tickets. I really like some of his stuff and really don’t like his country side. I could not bring myself to say that though. We will have fun anyway. For today I am listening to the new Daniel Romano. Enjoying it so far.
@Morgana, DBS is also having problems with her work computer blocking her from getting here, along with a few other sites
If you speak to Jenn tell her I say hello (just Mention Gin and Manchester)
@garf too bad it is not just me having troubles, that makes way more sense and only inconveniences me.
Remind me when we get to Feb and I will see if I can’t send her a martini on your behalf.
now I just need someone to remind me (I think we have been here before)
White Lotus? What? Seriously not my jam!
I don’t remember if we have been here before … where are we?
who are you?
Just curious, is everyone else seeing the font in bold, or did I do something on my end?
You asked me to remind you about something and I said that I was hoping you would remind me
I just can’t remember what it is
No bold here, I don’t think it is anyway
this should be in bold and this shouldn’t be in bold
If I can code html correctly
I tried 3 different ways to make the first part bolder than the second and none of them worked, but I did manage to make it italics
I’m still seeing everything in bold. I think it might be me.
I am really starting to worry about these issues with our site
I really think it might be me. My computer has been wonky for a few days now, I’m just too lazy to take it to IT.
between the issues you, Margana and,, DBS along with my latent paranoia I am worried
Garf – I checked on my phone, and on a different browser on my computer, and everything was normal. It’s me, I’m just not sure how to fix it.
use the other browser? (unless it’s edge/IE, in which case learn to love bold)
It is all in non bold for me and no italics, even when you said you were typing in bold it was not on this end … just letting you know. I can offer no advice.
The other browser is indeed IE, so I’m fine with bold. Thanks for letting me know it’s just me Morgana 🙂 I’m sure I could restart my computer and it will be fixed (that seems to work with so much other issues with this machine), but for now, I’ll think that everyone is really emphasising their points 🙂
@morgana, it didn’t embolden but I did manage to make it italics by going back in and twiddling the settings behind the scenes
Also, the comments were in italics for me.
This site needs some maintenance. When I have time will look into the font issues.
Thank you Justin,
I have been wondering if we should hire you for an hour or so a month just to give the site and it’s server a look over, but I don’t think we can afford you.
g’night folks
I miss you all! I will be back some day.
There will be a playlist tomorrow though. Talk to you soon I hope.
We miss you too, Darbar! Looking forward to your return 🙂
