Croatia – Make Circles
Croatia is a synth-pop group from Victoria, British Columbia. Taking heavy influence from the revolutionary sounds of 80’s era pop and electronic groups. They create their own meaningful, and at times darker, alternative to conventional pop music.
Randal Arsenault – Rock & Roll to My
Alberta-based singer/songwriter Randal Arsenault has released his latest single, “Rock & Roll To My Grave,” the first taste from his upcoming solo EP. The song marks a bold shift to roots rock for Arsenault after establishing himself with Afro-funk outfit Dr. Zoo. He’ll preview more new material with shows in Lethbridge, Banff and Calgary in early February.
Good morning!
Good morning!
See if you can’t get to hear Tom Brady’s comment (well, a part of it) about Philly “getting one good play”. (That’s not how his comment runs altogether, but he brings it down to that. Made our own CBC commentators chuckle, this morning.)
Hello
Hello hello!
I’m planning to see and hear Efrim Manuel Menuck, he of Godspeed! You B. Emp. and Thee Silver Mt Zion, this Friday. I was looking him up on the wiki and holy moly, what a childhood and adolescenthood!
In case: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Efrim_Menuck
Wow,not your average life story, one would hope
No, and yes!
This morning, on (CBC R1’s) *q*, the interview in the third third is with two guys from the Sheepdogs. A new song gets played that sounds quite different. This item is sure to be featured onweb.
Good morning everyone! Greetings from Puerto Vallarta Mexico. It is 73F/23C right now, wow.
The Superbowl… geez what a game! It sure was fun to watch and I am usually not a American Football person. I am happy Philly won. For us USers…. no one really likes the Patriots except New Englanders, as their history of cheating (deflate gate), and already winning the bowl 5 times. This is Philly’s first, yay!
Hi Justin! Temperature: right there in the perfect range! Here, it’s 11 F, sunny, and chilly. Not complaining though, it’s a beautiful Canadian winter day!
Benoit… that’s pretty nice! I’d def love to go run in that temp, sunny, and in Ottawa.
I meant *your* temp is perfect (ours is fine, but hey, clothes needed!)
Benoit, Ha.. got it…… my friend in Edmonton… she’s *done* with winter. photo: https://www.evernote.com/l/AWvc5PsuwZpOsZqpjaTOmUu0pYav4XxhaGI
Your friend’s mistake, IMO, is leaving out those chairs etc. Also, (s)he may be done with winter, but the reverse isn’t true. Sympathy.
The only part of the Superb Owl I watched this year was the half time show
Well, out cycling. A made-up need to get 3 physical tickets — Efrim Menuck, mentioned above; Common Deer (same show as Loon Choir, of R3 remembrance — Kid Cauley’s still in it); and Vieux Farka Touré, for a taste of Africa.
Isn’t it spelled “Super Bowel”?
I watched zero football yesterday, but I did watch Jennifer Jones capture her sixth Scotties title!
I watched the rerun of that this morning
I was bingewatching the first season of *Fargo*, which was re(re-re)broadcast on FX(Canada). I’d occasionally go into Syoopahbowel during commercial breaks. Was anyone (sooper)bowled over by a commercial? I was tuned in to the Mercan channel, and saw some, but wasn’t all that impressed.
I have only seen a few of them online
I did like this one

Ill say good morning before it becomes afternoon
I enjoyed listening to Confabulation last week. As always, I thank you for the introduction.
In other news, Jenn Grant was great but I paid for it for two days. After four months of trying to figure out why I fell and fractured my ribs (my blood was a mess but the why is still unknown) it has come to light that I also gave myself a concussion when I fell. Concussions and going out to dinner and a show are not the best combo but it was nice to get out.
Opening act was a great storyteller and musician;

Do I like Sloan?
April 15th “an Evening with Sloan” here in little ol’ Nelson?
I’ll check in later today after I have done a few more appointments …
I’m sorry you suffered for Jenn Grant, Morgana. I hope the concussion and its symptoms go away soon.
I rather enjoyed seeing Sloan on their One Chord to Another tour last year, it seemed like they still really enjoyed playing together
g’night folks, have a great evening and I hope you get better soon morgana
