When she first walked through the doors of the music room at Grand Valley Institution for Women, Bayley didn’t know what to expect.
“I never knew I was musically inclined,” she told CBC News. “I never played an instrument before in my life.”

Jamnasium, Canada’s Biggest Jam Space, is Built on Community, Affordability, Benevolence
A few months ago, Rob Stewart was standing amongst construction rubble inside a warehouse on 1140 Clark Drive. The CEO of Suna Entertainment — parent company of Suna Studios, the affordable East Vancouver jam spaces created for musicians, by musicians — moved around the floor swiftly as he described, with welling pride, what this space would soon harbour: the Jamnasium, Suna’s newest studio. Now, construction is complete and the Jamnasium is finally opening this month, just a quick walk from Suna’s other three nearby locations.

Hello from London,UK
Good morning!
So, what’s happening in London to cause you to try and sleep in coach? (I probably knew, but have forgotten.)
RAA?
Hello hello!
Rural Alberta Advantage & Yukon Blonde
That sounds like a great concert!
I hope it is 🙂
Will there be a write up on the blog tomorrow? 🙂
I will be too tired in the morning but I might put something in the comments later
@Garfield – according to the Twitters, both Paul McCartney and Damon Albarn have been invited to the show. I don’t really know what the significance of telling you that is, other than you all might be in the same place!
Bring your ear plugs for RAA. Every time I go to see them the drums are sooo intense. Great drummer but his punk roots take over live. Maybe the ear plugs will help with sleeping on the way home too …
Have a great time!!
I am listening to a link posted by Davoud on FB

I’m listening to yesterdays WR podcast now. I didn’t realize when I commented about baking cookies from the WR’s cookie blog that it’s the cookies featured on this month’s podcast! I recommend making them, they were yummy!
@janet you work fast! I passed on the cookies so I didn’t have them around to eat. I am making Chai tea currently and the house smells great.
Have you listened to the Rosie and the Riveters song on todays blog post?
@Morgana – I should clarify, I made those cookies for a cookie exchange in December. At some point Garf had shared the Wild Raccoon’s cookie blog, and I made them from there. But definitely yummy!
The Rosie and the Riveter’s song and video gave me chills! Such a simple message, delivered so well.
ah, the cookie baking sequence makes more sense now.
The Rosie and the Riveter’s song reminded me of a playlist I need to check out.
I’m going to go back and listen to the International Woman’s Day playlist that I was away for.
I’m still making my way through that playlist, but have enjoyed the songs I’ve heard so far.
I took in some sun while shovelling snow off the top of one of my raised beds. I also put the sheet of clear plastic over the PVC tubing that creates half hoops over the bed. Now the suns heat will be captured and the bed will be ready to plant soon.
My dizzy head is not sure what to make of all the movement. It’s not very happy but my heart is happy.
Suki says it time for her walk now and I agree:)
See you kids tomorrow.
I am home and about to go to sleep
if a Daniel or a Julisa visit today say hi and ask about last night
