Why one school board believes studying music is essential for all
Seventeen-year-old Evan Tanovich is wiry, articulate and intense — so full of energy that you can almost hear him buzzing. The Grade 12 student at Assumption College Catholic High School in Windsor, Ont., is also an accomplished composer. He’s had some of his compositions performed by professional musicians.

Good morning!
Hi, Russ!
Bye, Russ!
Hi, Benoit!
hello
Back now.
We’re getting a reluctantly slow Spring in Ottawa, at least my front lawn and the birds think it’s Spring. In the Laurentian hills though, it’s still end-of-winter.
Last time I went to the family cottage, oh 5-6 days ago, I thought that there would be some snow work and that I’d be able to clean up the basement. In fact, it was *all* snow work. Snowshoes mandatory in the woods kind of thing.
Really nice and pure and quiet, when all’s said and done.
Hello hello!
Well, my new couch has arrived. It is unexciting. But serviceable. And has some shape to it (the armrests). The fabric is almost tweedy, but less interesting.
The old one was easily two year past due at the curb. (That’s “kerb”, also.)
I was excited when we got ours a couple of years ago.
This couch is hilarious: it’s “too tight”. If you sit on one side and then get up, you’ve upset the centre cushion. Sit in the middle, and you skew the two other cushions. New. Tight.

Amusing
or as we call it on the prairie, “spring”
so, is it Busty and the Bass, like Meaghan Traynor(sp?), or like the fish?
Seems like, since it’s a music group, it would be the former, but you never know; maybe fish band names are big now that wolf and bear have had their run. There’s a group called Grouper, right?
Sure a lot of American festivals in that list on the ET Canada website
