Dennis Ellsworth – Things Change
When deciding to call his new album Things Change, Dennis Ellsworth took it as a personal directive. After making four fine—but criminally underappreciated—albums that straddled the line between alt-country and power pop, the Prince Edward Island native knew it was time to make a major statement.(FYI Music News)

Donovan Woods – Both Ways
It’s been two years since Donovan Woods released the album Hard Settle, Ain’t Troubled. Fans need not wait any longer for the follow-up full-length effort. Both Ways, produced by James Bunton, is set for release on 20 April through Meant Well. This new endeavor features Woods’ poignant storytelling backed by transcendently affectional music. Twelve tracks in length, the album exhibits Woods’ musical thumbprint. Yet Woods also offers skillful musical experimentation and variation that still cultivates listeners’ emotional investment. Good morning!
Hello
Damn! I could’ve heard-seen Ellevator live last week, but didn’t go. In my defence, I hadn’t heard the above tune, which I liked on first listen.
And good morning!
The first half-hour of live on-air *q* is an interview with Bernie Taupin, yes, the writer of all those Elton John songs. And the interview keeps on after the half-hour. Rare.
Well, that was an interesting walk to the shop. I managed to get hit by a car on the way back. Lucky for me it was just pulling away (because i’m small enogh to be missed)
You okay?
Apart from a sore wrist and elbow, I ‘m fine (I’ve done more damage falling over unaided)
whoa, you ok Garf? Post adrenalin drop and all.
Yeah, I was sitting down when that hit but I still felt (feel) a little shaky. It has been over 30 years since I had a bad interaction with a car so I was overdue.
It is amazing how our bodies react to trauma.
I hope you have the drivers information in case something evolves.
Did you hit your head?
Ice? Strong cup of tea of course … take care!
I didn’t ask for his details, we shook hands (my idea) and parted ways.
No head (or neck injuries, just my left wrist and elbow are a little banged up (elbow is the worst) but I didn’t even break the skin.
No ice yet and I am just about to get a cup of tea.
I wish you had have collected the drivers details but I am not surprised you did not, being the understanding person you are … sorry, I am going all Mom.
Enjoy your tea and take care.
I have a full day that I must get ready for now. I’ll check in later.
To quote an idiot, there was blame on both sides, I shouldn’t have been where I was (crossing in front of a car at a junction)
That bruise is METAL!
somebody drank my tea 🙁
Garf, that is a capital offense, isn’t it?
Out. Ciao!
I have been scooped! :p I was going to feature Ellevator tomorrow on the Release Radar playlist post. (It’s all good)
Ouch Garf! I hope you are doing okay now. Don’t play in the traffic!
