Hola
Halloo!
HIYA!
Hello hello! I’m back to a normal routine after having to head home for a bit of a family emergency. How have you all been?
We rode the bikes last night, gear selector is failing, will need a new bike soon.
Well I have been playing with fur textures in Blender and this is my first video render
I need to work on it but so far so good.
@Garf – I can’t be positive I know what it is you’re doing, but it looks pretty cool!
@Russ – Sorry to hear you’ll need to replace the bike.
@Janet, I am trying to learn (playing around with) a piece of software used to create 3d models with the hope of creating a 3d model of WR in the future. Above is my first attempt a raccoon fur.
sometimes derailleurs need a new cable. they stretch over time and don’t work so well
It’s the twisty ratchety thing on the handlebars.
THAT one.
@Russ sounds like a hassle but way less expensive than the transmission that just went in our VW Van. Good luck with the repairs!
@garfielduk please don’t put Wild Racoon in the blender!
A little Nardwuar to get your mind racing

I always enjoy a good Narduwar interview!
oh. well, a twist shifter is your first mistake 😛
I don’t like them much
still…pretty sure it can be replaced. Unless you’re looking for a reason to get a new bike. In which case, never mind…
It’s 20 year-old Huffy mountain bike, shop said parts are NLA, I got my money’s worth.
well, then, you go out and get yourself a new bike. And you do that before you dot another i, Russ Gordon!
Just discovered Joe Jackson is playing in Canada. Halfiax, Moncton (!), Wpg, Cgy…huh
@janet it was far from my favourite interview of his but it is still fun stuff.
Calgary Folk’s line up is looking great. Anyone going?
Re: Calgary Folk – I wish! 🙂
ditto!
@janet
actually, the one that i am most upset about missing this year is a small, local festival called Tiny Lights. The style of festival as well as the acts appeals to me. I have been enjoying their playlist on Spotify that has introduced me to some great “new to me” acts. Warning; not all CanCon.
