Jazz Cartier – FLEUREVER
Jazz Cartier is Toronto’s first post-Drake rapper, establishing a grimier counter-narrative to Drake’s opulent vision of the city. The best moments on his polished debut album Marauding in Paradise are fearless, theatrical.(Pitchfork)

Gooooood morning!
Large machines have finally arrived in front of my house, and are taking away the road. In trucks. With noise and ground trembling. I had to park the car a block away, in case I wanted or needed to use it.
Looks like decent music, above.
I like *Multitudes One*. Sounds a little like the 80s, New Order?
hello
Hi, garf! The Tour is over now, so I’m out on the cycle (at noon! mad dogs &…). Later!

where did everybody go?
I started a comment at the beginning of the day and apparently didn’t post it. And have been running ever since! Hi!
My sister and I bought a trailer today and we are off to Gateway Music Festival tomorrow! Woot!
3 very different groups up there. Diversity is nice. I agree with the little bit of New Order comparison, a little Talking Heads I heard as well at one point. Stephanie Ratcliff video was sweet. I didn’t think I was going to like it but it won me over. Jazz Cartier is good at what he does. I don’t always like the message and visuals that go along with that but it’s good.
