Cursed Arrows – Rebirth
Those who know the band may be scratching their heads wondering about this trio mentioned being more au fait with the duo – of Jackie and Ryan Stanley. Scott Gray has more recently joined them as a full-time fixture. Equally they will find the roughly thirty nine minutes, ten tracks, of Rebirth (available on bandcamp) of different flavour as Cursed Arrows reveal a more intimate and self-examining exposé in a mesmerising thread of songs than their more familiar forthright rock derived compositions.(Emerging Indie Bands)
This is the only release I have so far, but I will update the post if and when I find more.
Good day! (I was struck, up there, at pressing the Play arrow and getting audio. Audio only! Audi which focusses you on the song!)
BREAKING NEWS! Only years and years late (which we all know is better than never), CBC R1’s *q* has played, as ending song to its first half-hour, Bend Sinister’s latest tune.
The band still sounds pretty well like Supertramp in Breakfast to America — in that song anyway. (Sometimes they remind me of Queen, too.) Anyway, that got me to thinking “hmmmm these guys are touring soon, and plopping down at the Neat Coffeshop, wonder when?” AAARRRRRGGHHHH!: —–> tomorrow!
Well, lucky me! A $20 ticket later…
I know I’ll love the show, even if it’ll probably be too hot. Really, I haven’t felt sure of a show like this in a while. And it’s a nice 75-90 minute drive into a part of the country where I don’t usually go, Calabogie way, on the Ontario side…
(I’ll post this on FB too.)
A veritable twitterverse unto itself, this…
Hello all!
I am glad you didn’t discover you just missed the show Benoit. Have a lovely drive and a enjoy the show.
Did Garf get lost getting food this morning or is he too weak from hunger?
Yes and yes
Thanks, dar! Yup, lucked out this time — they weren’t sold out, either…
Oh no Garf! Your food plan didn’t work out?
Nice Benoit!
The food plan worked, it a was the early night part that failed
Ahhh. Oops.
and then I find out that the R3Wiki has been filled with spam again
