Hey Our Basement,
We went into Ponytails trying to make something that was reflective of our personal relationship and what we wanted reflected in our music. With the “Cherry Pie” video, we took that same approach but exaggerated it to the tenth degree. We’re best friends who live on the same block and work together, on top of the band. We genuinely all really like each other and want to keep making music together – we just want people to join the party so we can keep doing this for as long as we can!
Spawned from a shared love of pizza and the theme music in Sylvester Stallone films, Ponytails came to fruition in March 2016. “Cherry Pie” is the first in a series of music video/EP releases, leading up to the release of our full-length record in the spring of 2019.
Wish us luck that our trusty tour van, Helen Wheels, will be able to transport us through all that’s to come!

hello
Hello.
well, that was an interesting video. would that be a dough fetish?
Yes, “interesting”. People will surely remember the music…
Hi guys! I had a great time hosting the RagTag Misfits on Sunday. We met them at the venue and then brought them back for some home cooked food. The numbers were lower than I would have liked at the show but it was a fun night. We took them back to my guy’s place for the night and I really enjoyed meeting them and hanging out. Great group of people! Check out their show if you get the chance. 😀
Haha! Interesting video indeed! Looks like fun. :p
I have to admit that, for some reason, the idea of eatin raw pastry was the only thing that bothered me in the video, even though I am quite happy to cake mix and cookie dough raw
