Hello Our Basement,
Perpetually on the lonesome road, I continue to expand my audience as I perform my songs across the world, making fans the old fashioned way – one dedicated believer at a time.
I had been playing something like, 170 shows, around the world for the last few years and met endless streams of people who told me how badly they wanted to travel, explore, shake up their lives. I wrote “Sometimes You Gotta Go” in celebration of that spirit. Thank you, Substream Magazine, for kindly premiering its official video.
I had been recording albums with a band since I started my project as I always felt like the songs needed to be full. After years on the road and developing more and more confidence in my songwriting, it was time to attempt writing a record that could stand on its own with mostly just vocals and guitar.
“Sometimes You Gotta Go” is the first offering from that.
Sometimes it takes five years of making solo records to make your first, actual SOLO RECORD.
Thanks for listening,
Rob Moir

Good day everyone!
Hi Justin
I just didn’t want to mess with it in case you had other plans.
No, I just had a brain fart
How’s they kidney stone doing since it gained it’s independence?
Just floating around right now. The one from Friday is in his bladder still and one laying in wait in his kidney. He is feeling alright at the moment.
part of me wants to call him an idiot but I would have probably done the same thing
I am just home from casting my ballot. Voter #492 I was a.
Passing a stone is not something I would want to try. Having a kid was enough for me.
Glad to see you did not meet your maker in the form of a meteor @garfielduk
@justin if you think convoying to Tuktoyaktuk sounds like fun still do note that there is NO reception up there, not even CBC so load up all your devices with tunes!
Also bring a spare tire or two …
Morgana… oh I’d def have to deck the 4Runner out for that trip for sure. I have a full sized spare, but an additional spare might not be a bad idea.
@justin no donut tires for that road!
Morgana, see my photos of the 4Runner in Moab, Utah on Facebook or Instagram. It did pretty well.
I remember them!
