Hello
Hi garfield. Not that I’m all that active usually, but I’ll be completely inactive today. TO THE COUNTRY!
Have a good one!
Good Morning,
Enjoy the country Benoit.
hi Scott
Hi all! I found a few and added them to the Music Release Calendar.
Kid Koala – Music to Draw To: Io’ – Jan 25
Said The Whale – Cascadia – Feb 8
Murray A. Lightburn – Hear Me Out – Feb 22
Thank you!
We have to use numerous sources to find them. Glad to help a little.
Royal Canoe is the one I am most looking forward to. I love that band!
Kid Koala and Hawksley Workman are up there on my list. I think the Said the Whale album should be a good one by what we have heard so far.
Whitehorse is always good.
I searched our emails and the web for tomorrows releases and by the time I had finished that I was already late to post so I searched our emails for 2019 releases to add to the calendar before creating todays post
It would be nice if there was one place we could look for Canadian releases, but I guess that’s our job. Maybe we should add a page to the site for that. Hmmm.
I guess your weekly post is that already. Nevermind.
I keep having this dream of a site that scrapes social media for posts about music releases and filtering by genre and geographic location before adding them to a database. But that is beyond my talent.
Nice dream but that sounds pretty complicated to me.
not really, it’s just a matter of putting the correct search terms into the social media apis before filtering and sorting the data they spit out into a usable format like a calendar
Right, as simple as that. :-p
I was worried that you would ask me what an api was
Ha! Nope I edited that to apps in my head.
close enough
Close enough for my needs anyways. hehe
an api is more or less a app that lets you access a web sites data. so you were closer than you realised
Ahh cool.
Hello.
I am looking forward to Hawksley Workman and Royal Canoe the most. STW and Whitehorse for sure.
Hi Morgana
I am very slow to wake up this morning …
Good morning morgana!
@morgana, why do you think I like talking to Canadians online, I don’t need to wake up until 2pm
Good day @darbar.
I have the sniffles today:(
Dreaming of summer and things like this (warning – no relevance to music what so ever)

Ooh renting a VW van? That would be fun.
I was hoping to see Royal Canoe or Whitehorse playing in Vancouver but having looked at their tour dates I am disappointed.
We would not need to rent one but that area has been on our hit list for some time. We have friends who live in Missoula.
I would love to visit Missoula
It is beautiful. Seeing our friends would be lovely too!
Waiting for the politics to improve over there though.
yeah, that’s one reason I am reticent to visit the states at the moment. If they are willing to ban law abiding people from visiting because of their place of birth or even faith, then they don’t need me
I did step over the line last week to go and pick up some parcels. A business just across the line that lets you ship to them for a per parcel fee of $3. It can be better than paying the duty and waiting for Canada Post. That was enough for me at this point as well #garfieldUK!
I love taking oil of oregano … blah!
Off for a hot soak. I am entertaining tonight. Ug, my timing is great!
Feel better!!
Lee Harvey Osmond – Mohawk – Jan 25
