Hello Our Basement,
“Chaos and Confusion” is the second single to be heard from our yet-to-be-released debut album.
Inspired by Cat Power, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and TV On The Radio, “Chaos and Confusion” was self-produced and recorded with Simon Petraki at Serotone Studio in Montreal, QC.
In addition to “Chaos and Confusion,” we plan on sharing another single by early spring and touring in preparation for the full-length’s release in the latter half of 2019. 2018 saw us open for The Horrors, The Twilight Sad, and Michael Rault, and we’re excited to build on that momentum throughout this year.
Our hopes are that you genuinely enjoy listening to this song, and that you get lost in the layers of sound.
Venus Furs
Hello
I decided to put most of the Juno nominated albums into a playlist
Thanks Garf.
you’re welcome Scott, although to be honest I did it to make it easier for WR to pick out tracks for his podcast
Good morning!
I am glad you did that Garf. I was pondering changing my playlist this Friday to a Junos one but decided to stick with Black History Month as planned.
It gave me a chance to procrastinate over other things I should be doing
If it wasn’t for procrastination I would get nothing done
I hear ya! I can find all kinds of things to do to avoid doing the things I should be. Ha!
Echo….echo….echo
Venus Furs … what a band name!
I like the bottom of a well kind of echo on the vocals … which honestly I did type before @garfieldUK’s comment!
@GarfieldUK I too am appreciative of the Juno’s playlist.
I am not likely to watch the event but I do like to know what’s up in the music world to a certain degree.
happy to be of service
haha! Funny how that worked out.
great minds think alike
for your black history month playlist @darbar

please excuse me, I have fallen down a rabbit hole of looking at used spectical frames on ebay
Thanks morgana! I have 100 tracks but not that one. :p
I am heading out for a walk in the ice. thank goodness for ice grippers on my boots.
So far I have skipped a lot on the Juno’s playlist but I will persevere when I get back home.
That was part of my decision not to have Junos as the playlist on Friday.
Be safe!
Thanks for the Juno’s playlist Garf!
1,078 songs! That’s even longer than my playlists! Yes there will be skipping!! Haha!
I put it on shuffle for now.
but it’s only 70hours long!
message me on facebook if there are any tracks in that playlist that stand out to you and I might add it to the next podcast
