Q1, Would you like to introduce yourself?
I’m Liam! Nice to meet ya.
Q2, Do you share the same taste in food as your partner?
I’m highly non-picky, so yes! These days I’ve been eating to live rather than living to eat, I’m sure that will change at some point!
Q3, How old do you feel?
I’ve always felt older than I am – I’m 22. At times, I feel my age. Other times I feel 30 something.
Q4, To what extent do you plan your future?
Fairly extensively. I wish I didn’t, but I’m always setting goals and looking to make them happen. It’s the only way I know to keep myself feeling good and healthy. I also have always had a general sense for the kind of person I want to be and the kind of life I want to live, and I try to keep my values in mind as I’m going through my day to day.
Q5, What things embarrass you?
I used to have a tendency to lie or exaggerate stories. I hated this about myself, because I would get hopelessly embarrassed if I got caught. I guess this is obvious, but at some point I realized that if I just told the truth about everything all of the time, I would never have that experience again, and weirdly it was life-changing.
Q6, When did you last have a hair cut?
Like… 18. months ago probably? I am a little overdue. Having long hair is nice 😉
Q7, Who should take most credit for your success?
I haven’t really reached a place in my life where I feel comfortable thanking people for my ‘success’. I need to work a little harder first! However, being that there are different ways to measure success, and I felt successful this year when I finished my first solo album, and I have a lot of people to thank for that, including my former bandmates, parents, mentors, friends – the usual suspects.
That said – I’ve always liked that video where Snoop Dogg thanks himself for what he’s accomplished. I don’t take very many (if any) days off, I work two jobs to support my music habit, and working like that does not always make you feel inspired. My life is not hard by any means, but it does get hard to keep pushing like that, and I never want to let myself stop.
Q8, And, most importantly, what is your favourite type of cookie?
It’s gotta be a chocolate chip oatmeal. Cookies are supposed to have chocolate in them.
Chocolate chip (oatmeal) strikes again for the win!
(And good day…)
Good Morning
I agree if it doesn’t have chocolate it can hardly be called a cookie.
His song sounded pretty good too.
Chocolate chip HERESY!
Not saying they’re not excellent, or among the best, but there are also lovely, buttery shortbreads as the Scots make; plain oatmeal cookies (as we call ’em, but they’re really made with rolled oats), or with raisins (I know, I know, don’t bring it up); ginger snaps; or even Pirate Cookies.
Brandy snaps. Ummmmmm, brandy snaps…
That reminds me of the “bacon baby” on social media: a second of it got picked up by (?) Maple Leaf brands or someone, and placed at the end of a meat ad.
Good morning! Chocolate is always my first choice, but I will enjoy others on occasion.
I just missed Liam here in Regina Saturday night. Life gets in the way sometimes. I enjoyed the tracks I have heard from him. Times Like This was a featured track on the March Release Radar. http://www.ourbasement.ca/2019/03/15/playlist-friday-ourbasement-release-radar-march-2019/
hello
should I just leave again?
when you walk into a room and everyone goes quiet
Sorry Garf,
I’m here, just being quiet so nobody notices me.
Hiya!
I was away again. How’s it going?
All is good here. Almost the end of my work day.
I am ready to go to sleep after spending most of the day designing a phone case for Ursa Minor from the old blog and looking at how I could make some cuff links for male FFOTY members and R3 hosts (I am still working out what to do for the female members)
It has been bright and sunny here, and warm! Were melting snow Yeah!!
Interesting projects Garf. Say hi to Ursa Minor for me.
We were very warm and most of our snow melted. Today i a bit cooler but still nice.
@DBS, she sends greetings from Belgium
Hi
Hi Kat
Hello!! 😀
How’s your travels going?
Hi Garry, been a long time! 😉
@DBS Hi!
a good minute, maybe 2
for those of you that don’t know Kat, she is my pickle chip supplier
Bye people, see you tomorrow
Do they have pickle chips/crisps in Canada? If not I could start an international company providing the UK (until the brexit) and Canada. 😎
How is Canada?
A little bit cooler today, about 10°C today, but was tired of long trousers so decided to wear shorts today 😎
First pack of pickle chips/crisps is free, then € 100 a pack.
We have dill pickle flavoured chips. Are you talking about actual pickles made into chips?
pickle flavour
€ 100 a pack!?, I can’t afford that much, especial when the £ falls through the floor
Old Dutch Dill Pickle chips are yummy.
I was too cowardly to try them when I was in Canada
@DBS If you want I’ll send you a pack of Pickle chips so you can compare with your dill pickle flavoured chips 😉
@ Garry for you it is free off course 😉
thank you
After brexit I’ll have to get them to you via rocket.
Anyone a cup of fresh ginger tea and a dark chocolate digestive?
Thanks Ursa but I am good. 🙂
I am sorry to be checking in so late but I do have a good reason; I was out for lunch with @funhug and his family.
We’ll forgive you this time (and every other time)
That is a very good reason!
