Hey Our Basement!
Moving to Toronto from our hometown of Montreal last summer inspired and challenged us. We wanted to create something to immortalize this milestone, so we shot and compiled what is now the official video for “Emily.”
We like to see how far we can go when producing everything ourselves. We were still mixing “Emily” when we shot the video, so the visuals helped to inspire a lot of new tweaks in the song itself. It’s important to us that both audio and video complement each other.
“Emily” is a reminder that everything will be alright, a perspective we try to keep as we prepare to release our forthcoming The Paris Tapes EP (out later this year!)

Hello
Good day, garf! Believe it or not, Ottawa is getting some Spring. Slowly, reluctantly; still…
It’s actually perfect maple-running season (referring to the sap, of course!): below freezing at night, and above during the day.
I like that. Feels normal.
Good Morning
Hi Scott!
I’m about to go out for what is likely my last time toboganning this year. I’m trying to get there just after the snow’s no longer hard as ice (it froze last night, but the slope faces the sun). Ciao.
Have fun toboganning. It looks like it is going to be a nice day.
Success! A sunyy, sunny day at around 0 or 1 above (C). The snow was of course firm underneath, but the sky had softened maybe the top centimetre or two, just enough for things not to be hurtful. Still, the chopped-up, many times melted base made the runs “interesting”. Only took four, preferring to get out again for some cycling.
Sunyy, it was.
I am back from a walk to the store and it is a bit chilly out there, the lazy wind doesn’t help
Geez, same-ish here: supposed to be +2 or 3, airport temp is -2, my backyard thermometre claims 0.
Hi there! We had a bit of snow yesterday and today it is +15C!
