Hello Our Basement,
I believe that music can help to heal you in different ways.
My love for songwriting and musical projects have filled up many years of my life.
Eventually, I put my own music aside for some time in order to
concentrate on the message I wanted to send out in the world through art, which led to supporting & working with other artists that also had a conscious message to encourage and inspire.
I want you, the listener, to experience the natural synergy that music can have with spirituality.
“Be Amazing,” my new single, is a reminder that wonder exists at all times.
It’s important to think positively as our thoughts can become our lives.
“Be Amazing” is the first single from my debut full-length album that will be released this autumn. Malcolm Burn produced the record, which was an amazing experience.
He’s worked with legends like Bob Dylan, Iggy Pop, Emmylou Harris, and Daniel Lanois and has left his mark on certain records that have really changed me.
I hope that “Be Amazing” inspires you.
Thanks for listening,
BORZA
“G’day”, he typed to no one in particular, and the entire world in general.
Good Morning
Greetings, she replied to BenoÎt and Scott in particular but also to the entire world in general.
Our Spring is flip-flopping from, um, spring-like to October-with-tulip-shoots. Reluctant, it is.
Which is better than warm, I suppose, given the Ottawa River is already at a record high. Still.
The entire world is waiting with bated breath.
Hmmm. What the heck does “bated” mean?
“bate 1 (bāt)
tr.v. bat·ed, bat·ing, bates
1. To lessen the force or intensity of; moderate: “To his dying day he bated his breath a little when he told the story” (George Eliot). See Usage Note at bait1.
2. To take away; subtract.
[Middle English baten, short for abaten; see abate.]”
“baited” breath would be yucky.
Hola, ¿cómo estás?
Our lesson of the day brought to you by BenoÎt of Ottawa.
Hola Garf. Muy bien.
I liked that Borza track up there, by the way.
“Gotta want what you hold in your hand it might be your future in a bit
Everything that happens to you is thought and planned out by you”
well good morning
(darbar) A lesson for me also. It wasn’t rhetorical when I wondered, up there…
I understood that Benoit and was genuinely interested. 🙂
Good morning morgana!
Good morning @darbar.
Have you contemplated/decided your travel days to Kaslo Jazz Etc? We have been looking at our schedule and wondering if you two will be in Nelson first or just arriving for the festival …
@morgana, I am still looking for a matter transporter to get to Nelson
We had planned on going home from Gateway Festival on Monday to take my sister home and then head to Kaslo Tuesday with a stop overnight at Steve’s sister’s in Medicine Hat. My sister’s health is now a major concern so we will have to wait to confirm this but the plan was to get there Wednesday or Thursday. Which would work better for you guys?
see if you can find me

@darbar
I hope everything is ok with your sister!
If you get here Wednesday we can celebrate my birthday together.
We are in town so there is no place to park you and your trailer that is not on the road. There is a flat road spot if that works for you thought.
I am pretty sure we will be driving to Kaslo on Thursday morning and we can save you your spot so really either is just fine.
@garfielduk let me know when you have that matter transporter and I’ll go back to the UK with you.
I will let you know what we decide. My sister has just gotten that cancer diagnosis and will be starting chemo soon. Everything is suddenly up in the air. 🙁
Using a current photo I see Garf. 😉
@DBS, I didn’t know
That’s because I haven’t said anything publicly til now.
@darbar fuck! there is a time and place for swearing and this is one. I am sending you the (((good vibes)))
If we are talking breast cancer and you have questions let me know. I am six years out from that trial and am happy to share.
Thanks morgana. Fuck indeed! It isn’t breast cancer and I am afraid the prognosis isn’t good. So while I hope to still make it to Kaslo, there is a chance I just won’t be able to leave her.
Sorry for the downer on the blog. It is weighing heavy on my mind these days.
But music! Music helps. 😀
@darbar let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Even selling the tickets if it comes to that. No worries. Family comes first. Take care.
Thanks morgana. I knew you would understand. 🙂
@DBS, to echo Morgana, don’t hesitate to ask for anything
Thanks Garf. 🙂
Sorry that I killed the blog. I didn’t mean to.
