This weeks playlist has tracks from artists that will be playing at Gateway Music Festival. “The 15th Annual Gateway Festival will take place July 26-28, 2019 in beautiful Bengough, Sask. We are pleased to welcome TROOPER, CHARLIE MAJOR, KIM MITCHELL, MICHELLE WRIGHT, Craig Finn & The Uptown Controllers, Kira Isabella, Kacy & Clayton, Chixdiggit, Altameda, Christine Fellows, and more.” (from the Gateway Festival website)
I will be heading down to The Big Muddy area for the festival again this year to take it all in. It’s a great little festival and a really good time. There is a good mixture of music to keep everyone happy. Michael Dawson as the Artistic Director brings a wide variety of artists to the festival. It is also one of the few places you can see Library Voices play these days as well. I am looking forward to it!
Cool, Thanks Dar.
Have a good day! I’m off to the family cottage to pound rusty nails out of some old planks. That and get rid of some ‘indoor ants’.
Fun stuff.
However, it’ll be somewhat cooler than Ottawa today.
Ciao!
Good morning.
Enjoy Benoît!
Thanks for checking it out Scott!
Trooper was a good way to start the playlist. I’ve not heard “The Boys In The Bright White Sports Car” for a long while. It’s still a great summer time song.
That song brings back a lot of memories for me. Me and my girlfriends hanging out in a park and these boys in a white sports car kept circling around. We were singing that song a lot after that and it always reminds me of those days.
That’s awesome Dar.
Have a great weekend.
You too Scott!
Funny thing is, the Civic I recently bought — it’s a ‘Sport’ model — is bright white. Pearly white actually. A little flashy, but hey, secondhand…
It’s turning out to be quicker than I can use, which is something.
