Hey Our Basement,
I’m not sure if you can relate to this or not but I’ve always struggled with anxiety. For me it would manifest as migraines and breakdowns pretty often; one day, I noticed that I’d gotten them under control enough to go a while without any. It gave me this newfound sense of hope. I realized that it doesn’t matter who you are; if you work to better yourself, you’ll see change eventually.
With our new single, “Little Feather,” I wanted to add to the conversation surrounding mental health in my own way. I still struggle, but I never stop working at it. I hope that’s what you take away from this song – we all have something that we’re struggling with mentally, but it’s okay. You’re not alone, and it will get better if you learn about what’s going on and keep working on yourself.
Our very own Tomás Valenzuela produced “Little Feather” alongside Anthony Cenerini at his 12TH ST Sound studio. Our friend, Trent Otter, recorded the drums. He really helped to bring out the excitement of the song by playing his part with this explosive energy that suited it perfectly.
Thank you for listening to/watching “Little Feather.”

Hello out there!
I quite enjoy LIttle Feather by Adera. It has elements that remind me of Royal Canoe.
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. It’s another lovely day on the prairies. Sunny and not too hot, just how I like it. Sadly, I was hoping to take my sister camping this weekend but it will be cool and rainy for the weekend. We will try again another time.
Yeah, good song.
We here are (thankfully) supposed to finally get that northwestern air mass.. Even though our nights have been fine — 15, 18, 11 –, days always go up to 30 and sunny, feels like broiled. Too much for me. I don’t work well when it’s hot.
But tomorrrow’s supposed to be decent, 23 maybe, so I’m off to the family chalet for some ambitious semi-watery chainsaw work.
