Hey Our Basement,
Recently, I’ve been really trying to become a better person in general. That means taking responsibility for my actions. Relationships are a two way street. Often we blame the other person for problems or disagreements instead of taking a step back and really thinking about it. So many songs in general blame the other person by pointing out their mistakes and faults instead of looking at themselves. They only share one side of the story, I wanna share both sides. Maybe it’s their fault, or mine, or both.
Like “On My Side”, “Wave” was recorded and mixed in my bedroom with the help of Michael who also mixed and mastered it! I guess I’m really embracing the diy-bedroom pop life! It feels and looks funny when I’m singing in my closet full of clothes. Every now and then, I ponder on how amazing it is that we live in an age where we can put all of our ideas, thoughts, emotions into a computer and it spits it back to us. Weird.
The sound is pretty different from Mac DeMarco but I was influenced by him on this song! I guess it has an indie beach vibe to it. I plan on doing a tour in Ontario this upcoming spring!
Thanks for listening
Peach Luffe
Good Morning Folks
G’day!
Hello
I have a favour to ask,
would you like to hear any new features on the Wild Raccoon Podcast or would you like to hear him host a different type of show?
Welcome back Scott! How are you?
I am not sure Garf. Pick themes and go with it? Favourite songs of Wild Raccoon and why he likes them? Songs about things he finds in the trash? Things he discovers about the person whose trash bin he raided?
Thanks Dar,
All of those sound like great ideas.
Good day folks.
I really enjoyed Fridays playlist. Montreal knows how to put together a festival!
I think Wild Racoon is an environmentalist ; a twist on the garbage going through MO that is what racoons are widely known for. Spreading out our trash so we can see how much good stuff we have wasted and all. Making us have to pack it all up again after the ‘coons and crows etc have reduced it by half …
@darbar I like that he also learns about the people whose trash has been gone through.
I think there should be a harmless fetish; something very strange that he searches out in the garbage and secretly hordes. Something to slowly reveal about the character.
Wild Racoons favourite book is of course, Garbage Delight.

I have a favour as well … help me find a show in QC mid October.
I have been trying to look up concert listing for Quebec City and am not having much success.
This is the best I did
https://exclaim.ca/music/concerts/filter/quebec%20city_2019-10-19.
Exclaim! also had an article with a list of top six venues which I looked up but seeing as I am not into PUP (sorry) I came up empty handed there as well.
Hi Morgana, could you narrow down the dates a little
I think it might be worth waiting until you get there and see what is happening
I just had an idea for a WRP segment
Through The Trashcan,
WR goes through the contents of a musicians trashcan for clues about the owners’ identity and listeners can guess who it is
MORGANA!
I’ve got three sites for you: 1) a ticket-selling site; 2) a list of bars split into music types (not sure how current); 3) the listing for the Palais Montcalm, the biggest venue in Québec (City), I think.
1) http://www.spectacle.ca/quebec/
2) http://local.fiatlux.tk/quebec/bars/spectacles
3) http://www.palaismontcalm.ca/concert-spectacle-quebec/page/3/
Sounds like fun Garf.
I am glad you enjoyed the playlist morgana. Montreal has a music scene I much admire. Much going on in that city. I will see what I can find for Quebec City when I get a chance.
Someone moderate my comment please. Thanks.
@B from O
14:29 or 7:41?
@BfO, no (done)
@morgana 12:22
thx, yes, 12:22. I suppose a subroutine ‘thought’ I might be a bot.
If you are around for Bernard Adamus on the 25th, I would recommend going to that one. I like him and think you would too. He does sing in French though and that may be a problem for a lyric listener that doesn’t know the language. hehe
Klo Pelgag as well. What are the dates we are looking at?
sometimes my humour is just not smart enough to be funny.
Yes, thank you for the recommendations @BfromO. I will be spending time on those links this evening for sure.
@darbar hmmmm, i suppose i could immerse myself in a french language show.
Thanks for the suggestions. I have to do my eye exercises now so I will not be able to see properly for a bit so I’ll just check back tomorrow.
Incidentally, Bernard Adamus is hard to understand even for me: he sings really fast.
I like what I have heard from him but I don’t need to know what he says. Ha!
I would also be interested in The High Dials show but I am not sure they would be a happy brain wave for morgana or not. The Klo Pelgag shows look like they are with the symphony orchestra as well. That should be interesting.
I am looking forward to the Jeremy Dutcher show with the Regina Symphony Orchestra this fall.
