Holy smokes there are so many new releases! Our Release Radar playlist this month is overflowing with new Canadian Indie goodness. We have both a Spotify Release Radar playlist and a YouTube new video release playlist to help you discover new music. Some of the videos in the YouTube playlist can also be found on the Spotify playlist but the playlists are very different and you should check them both out.

The YouTube playlist has over 40 new uploads this month. There are new releases, cover videos and live videos, and some of the videos we have featured here at OurBasement. There is lots to watch and discover in the playlist so I encourage you to check it out.

The Spotify Release Radar playlist has over 200 songs on it this month. The tracks are all new releases with some being teasers for upcoming albums, some from just released albums or eps, singles, and a cover and a remix or two in there as well. There are many tracks from artists that have been featured here on OurBasement. This month I was most excited about the songs from Andy Shauf, Destroyer, Black Mountain, We Are The City and so many others. Patrick Watson, Lightning Dust, Walrus, Begonia, Mappe Of, Half Moon Run, nêhiyawak all had more new tracks for us to enjoy this month as well. I am so excited about all the new albums that have been or will be released this fall! We have so many incredibly talented music makers in Canada. I am very proud of them.
