“I Wanna Dance/Lost” is our first ever mashup of two songs from our 2019 album, Why Make Sense. Our new take on those tracks, Why Make Sense Revisited 2, is officially out everywhere.

The magic happened instantly when we were jamming in Toronto with producer, Herag Sanbalian. We wanted to push all boundaries for this one and mix everything up. We thought of bringing in producer Beau Geste so that his trap feels could complement well Herag’s pop color.

We then asked our friend Karim Ouellet, who we met at a SOCAN writing camp last year, if he wanted to hop on it! We knew his clever melodies would add that extra special touch.

“I Wanna Dance/Lost” brings light to the feeling of being lost in yourself and out of focus.

When one encounters sadness or heartbreak, it is hard to separate yourself from the darkness that lives so deeply inside of you. This track addresses that and tries to encourage letting go of the pain – even if momentarily – and loving yourself, including your inner demons.

Dance it out, take a step back, and with time you will feel better.
