Hello Our Basement,
“Lovejoy,” the first single from my debut album, Desert Message (out November 22nd), tells the tale of my reunion with the love of my life, who turned out to be a conman.
He came up to Buffalo and I drove down from Canada, the two of us meeting in a neighbourhood called Lovejoy. Everything seemed perfect.
It wasn’t until he was arrested at the border in front of me that I discovered the truth – he was a fugitive from justice from Louisiana carrying on multiple lives.
I lost everything. My only purpose now is to turn ugliness into beauty, and to make others feel less alone.
Thank you for listening,
Heather Valley

Here we are. My browser didn’t refresh properly it seems.
Oh it needs an image.
That should do it!
Anybody out there?
Quite the story and video. That would have been a painful experience to go through.
Yes it would (painful experience).
And good day. I was away yesterday. Today, I’ve been mostly planting bulbs*, because SASKATCHEWAN WEATHER is upon us.
Mind, I’ve still got about 50 daffodils left to plant (the ‘best’ kind = King Alfred, big yellow ones), and a few tulips too. That’ll be done under white perhaps.
* … which often involves digging up bulbs that were already there, and replanting those…
You haven’t seen anything yet! We are at -10 right now and going down to -22 tonight!! Ugh
I admire all the work you do on your yard. I had dreams for mine but never did the work.
-22 — I didn’t read that…
All the work I do..: sheet, you act in plays and do other related jobs, not to forget making money and taking care of Devin (thankfully, less now, it seems). Also, I don’t do all that much, yet some’s got to happen, pressed on by the seasons’ change.
Did I forget an image, bugger, sorry
I also didn’t complete the title
