It is Valentine’s Day, so this week’s playlist is all about love. Love comes in many forms so sometimes just like Hawksley Workman you have to ask “Is this what you call love?” We are revisiting this question from last year with even more love added to the playlist.
Valentine’s Day is an opportunity for people in Canada to tell somebody that they love them in a romantic way. It falls on February 14, the name day of two saints, St Valentine of Rome and St Valentine of Terni. In pre-Christian times, the middle of February was a time of pagan fertility festivals in Europe and allegedly the time when birds chose a mate. (Time and Date)
Like most things, what better way to celebrate love than with music. No matter where you are at in your love life, you are bound to find a song that helps you express those emotions in the playlist. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Good morning!
Good Morning, Thanks again Dar.
Hi Scott! Always nice to see your good morning message. 😀
I am hoping next week I will be around more. I am juggling a few things in my life these days!
No worries, Dar.
i hope things settle out OK for you.
Thanks Scott! I have 2 more performances for the play I am in, so that being done will free up a bunch of time.
Cool, what’s the name of this play?
A Red Plaid Shirt by Michael G. Wilmot
Two married couples navigating life after retirement. It’s quite funny.
Ha,ha, that looks like fun. I’m sure there is lots of hard work in the background though.
It is a very heavy on dialogue play. I had so many lines to memorize!!
It has been fun though.
