June is National Indigenous History Month and June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day. This is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. One way to celebrate is by sharing their music and letting their voices be heard. I feel more people are waking up. I know I am definitely becoming more aware. These Indigenous artists definitely have something to say. There is so much injustice happening in our world and in our own backyard, the least we can do is listen. We have much to learn and so much more to do, but first we listen.

June 21 is also Father’s Day, so we have a bonus playlist for all you dads out there. Happy Father’s Day!
