The OurBasement playlist this week is the Release Radar for July/2020 and is full of all the new music Canadian artists have been creating. We have a Spotify Release Radar playlist, a condensed Spotify Release Radar and a YouTube new video release playlist to help you discover new music.

The YouTube playlist has over 30 new uploads this month. The videos are usually pretty fun to check out and I encourage you to do so.

The Spotify Release Radar playlist has about 200 songs on it this month! The tracks are all new releases with some being teasers for upcoming albums, some from just released albums or eps, and some are stand alone singles. There are some tracks discovered through Exclaim or !Earshot and some from here on OurBasement. This month I was most excited about the songs from Sam Roberts Band, Yukon Blonde, Bend Sinister, Lightning Dust, Peaches and many others. Dizzy, The Zolas, Kathleen Edwards, Half Moon Run and others all had more new tracks for us to enjoy this month as well. I am so proud of all the talented artists we have in Canada and very glad that they are still releasing music during these difficult days.
