Q1, Would you like to introduce yourself?
I would. I’m S.K. Wellington! I’m a songwriter/musician based in Calgary, Alberta. I love music! Listening to it, writing it, arranging it, recording it and performing it.
Q2, Did you ever run away from home?
Sure did. But I “ran away” to a little shed we had in the backyard. I even dragged extension cords out my window so that I could have a light and not be scared. I was so ripped up that my Mum didn’t panic when I was gone. In hindsight, she obviously knew I was in the backyard with all the racket I made and evidence left behind. Ha!
Q3, How would you rate yourself as a flirt?
4/10. Could definitely improve in this area. I don’t really get flirting. “Wanna… hang out… sometime? I like your shirt.”
Q4, What are your phobias?
I’m not sure I have any official phobias – but I’m pretty wary of bees, wasps and hornets as most of my family is allergic! I also feel overwhelmed when I think about the depth and magnitude of the ocean. Or the universe. Won’t be signing up to go up in a rocket ship anytime soon.
Q5, What is your favourite ice cream flavour?
There’s a local ice cream shop in Calgary called Made by Marcus and they have “peanut butter dill pickle” as a seasonal flavour. Sounds so gross but I totally love it. Which is weird, because I hate dill pickles. For a more typical ice cream, I’d say Moose Tracks! Peanut Butter cups in ice cream… Does life get better than that?
Q6, When was the last time you laughed until you cried?
I laugh quite a lot. The last time I laughed so hard I cried a little was with my bandmate, Clay. I don’t even know what got us going but we were giggling so hard my stomach ached.
Q7, Who is your favourite actor?
These are good questions! I think I’d go with Ryan Gosling. Have loved him since his Breaker High days.
Q8, And, most importantly, what is your favourite type of cookie?
A good, fresh chocolate chip cookie. WAIT. I changed my mind. Oatmeal chocolate chip. *Drool*.
Hi S.K., nice song and answers to the questions.
A very striking image.
Thank-you
Howdy folks.
I agree with Scott. 🙂
