Hello Our Basement,

“Your Life Is a Story” is available now on all music platforms, from my forthcoming debut EP co-written with Sam Arion (Mute Choir), Keegan Powell (Teenage Kicks, Chastity) and Jesse Klein (Phaze). This song is inspired by three major life changes, in wanting to give myself endings to each struggling chapter.

This was one of the more organic songs I’ve written, I wrote it on my balcony with nothing more than an acoustic guitar and a notepad.

The song is about giving yourself the opportunity to start over again. Whether it be a new job, new relationship, or a new creative project. It was my way of telling myself that it’s okay. You can leave the past behind and start fresh, as yourself.
