Q1, Would you like to introduce yourself?
Hey! I’m Serena Pryne and I’m a singer/songwriter in rock band called The Mandevilles.
Q2, Did you ever run away from home?
I do recall a time where I had packed a bag, probably around 12 years old. But I never followed through. However, I did practice jumping out of my bedroom window a lot during that time (we lived in a raised bungalow). I was caught and grounded, hahaha.
Q3, How old do you feel?
I rarely think about age. And unless it’s brought to my attention, I have no idea how old anyone is around me. I truly believe that doing something you love keeps you young, and I know that playing music has done so for me. Also, yoga and cats!
Q4, What causes would you actually fight for?
Human rights! The right to equality and respect for everyone. No discrimination.
Q5, What is your favourite ice cream flavour?
Mint Chocolate Chip.
Q6, When did you last have a hair cut?
December 11, 2020 right before we began the second lockdown. Got lucky on that one but I swear my hair has been growing faster than ever during this pandemic.
Q7, What toy or game did you enjoy playing when you were younger?
Skip-Bo was and will always be one of my top favs. Hide and Seek was super fun when you could play it outdoors on a big property.
Q8, And, most importantly, what is your favourite type of cookie?
Wow, I hardly ever eat cookies… but when I get a hankering for them, it’s chocolate chip all the way. Fresh out of the oven, the kind that are crunchy on the outside and gooey/almost slightly undercooked inside.
Thanks Serena!
