My new song “Money” was influenced by the feeling of being enslaved to the desire for wealth and security. ”Money” is a raw exploration of the seemingly limitless void we spend our lives trying to fill. Have you ever felt hollow upon getting what you think will satisfy.
And yet we keep on going like we’re ok when we’re not. We ignore the void and press on to the next thing. When will we wake up from this insanity.
“I’ve had enough of the lies, that promise paradise, but I’ll be fine”
Is it worth it to give up everything for that which we think will satisfy and yet lose ourselves along the way. And will that place ever feel like a home once you get it.
