We’re celebrating our 10 year anniversary as a band with our sixth studio album, out now.
The self-titled album features the single, “Reasons.”
Pretty Archie was recorded at a lakeside cottage in Cape Breton with producer and engineer, Mark Howard (The Tragically Hip, Tom Waits, Willie Nelson), and recorded off the floor, to get the most authentic live mix.
“Reasons” was originally a cry-in-your beer song, but in the studio it evolved into something much more punchy, thanks to an 808 drum machine and Mark’s vision. The song is about a man who is pleading with his girl to get her back and promising to be a better man, but he eventually realizes it’s too late.
As a band, we wear our East Coast hearts on our sleeves. We are very proud of where we are from, but our focus now is exposing people internationally to our part of the world.
