This is Dead Levee, an old-school no-nonsense five-piece rock band from Regina, Saskatchewan.
Our new single, “Nothing Good Comes Easy,” is an elevating redemption rock song about overcoming any and all obstacles that may come between you and your dream. The song came to us while we were driving by the ocean on the Sunshine Coast in our 1989 Ford Econoline.

The acoustic guitar on the song was recorded outside of the recording studio amongst the forest to give more of a natural, organic sound by our bassist, Tayler “Izzy” Morgan. If you listen closely, you can even hear a crow squawking in the background at the end of the song.
“Nothing Good Comes Easy” is from our upcoming EP, Rise Up, out in April 2022 and produced by multi-JUNO Award winning producer, Garth Richardson (Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Big Wreck).
