Hello Our Basement,
There are times when the arts call for activism and social duty, and there are times when you want to inspire people to have a good time and forget about their worries. This is one of those songs.
It’s about how fiery love can magically show up in your life, and seem too good to be true, as if something otherworldly that orchestrated it.
Working with French producer RED ROCKERZ, the beats we get our hands on tend to be more uplifting with happy vibes. This came out of a late-night session where we were laughing around, having fun, and in super playful moods. “Jungle Night” really nails that energy.
We touch base on the idea of light and dark. Life has its low points and it also has its ups. So enjoy those highs and when you’re stuck in a low just remember there are better times around the corner.
This year, I’m releasing a new single per season followed by an album in the late summer titled, 3 EYE HIP. Hope you stick around with me on this crazy ride!
Joey Stylez
Good day folks. I am still going to work in my dungeons these days. I am pretty isolated, just my bosses pop in to my area from time to time. How is everyone doing out there?
Joey Stylez is a Saskatchewan artist I haven’t seen live yet. I like the vibe of this track. Hopefully those better times come sooner than later.
Hi folks. Are we all ok? Sorry I have been so out of the loop. Still having trouble with my eyes but pushing ahead. I have stocked the most important things in my house; prescriptions. Everything else is normal amounts of groceries. Mr Morgana is still going to work at the liquor store; seems it is considered an essential service;) Everything else in town is shut except banks, groceries and gas. Good luck friends and do stay in touch…wrong word! stay in contact. trying again, keep in the loop from 6ft away.
Haha! Hello morgana! I am still at my sister’s and she has a full pantry and freezer. I got some more fruits and veggies for the short term. We won’t starve. I had gotten toilet paper before the craze started so we are good. Music will keep me entertained through it all.
Hello Folks,
All good here, still at work so far. Amazed at the empty shelves at our liquor stores. Obviously Mr Morgana is supplying an essential service. Bars and restaurants are closed. I have a friend that has an online business selling sous vide prepared dinners that are shipped via courier. That part of his business is booming, his other customers are restaurants and that has pretty much dried up.
We met in the waterfront park in town to have a couple Guinness to celebrate St Paddy’s yesterday, exercising social distancing of course.
@darbar @ scott glad to hear you are both doing well and are prepared to batten down the hatches.
For the first time in my life I bought scented laundry soap today; only one left on the shelf. I figure it is snow run off season and we don’t have a water shortage so I can set the machine to an extra rinse cycle.
Basically I am feeling incredibly lucky to have money in the bank, food in the cupboard, and all my loved ones are healthy so far.
Our we going to be playing the Facebook R3 group playlist here on Friday?
I wish I had money in the bank. It was pretty depleted with my stint at the hospital with my sister. Now there are events I was going to get lots of hours for that aren’t happening. No extra money coming in here. Oh well. I will get through some how.
I had a plan for the playlist already, but I can work that in. I have a couple months of playlists planned but I can adapt. I always welcome other playlist contributions or ideas.
