Q1, Would you like to introduce yourself?
Hi! I’m David Madras – I’m an alt-country singer-songwriter from Toronto.
Q2, Are you a good cook?
I can cook, but I wouldn’t call myself a good cook. I can follow recipes, and I know that adding sugar and/or salt to things makes them better usually.
Q3, How old do you feel?
24 or 31, depending on the day.
Q4, What are your most irritating habits?
Biting my nails is a habit I find most annoying about myself To others, probably singing all the time or wearing a cowboy hat or something.
Q5, What was the last movie you saw in the cinema?
I saw Knives Out a few months ago. It was so good! Really funny and really smart.
Q6, When did you last have a hair cut?
I shave my head, so last Sunday.
Q7, Would you rather eat 2 cloves of garlic or 6 spoons of cod liver oil?
2 cloves. I don’t really know what cod liver oil is, and honestly, you wouldn’t even need to convince me to eat garlic. I love garlic.
Q8, And, most importantly, what is your favourite type of cookie?
Oh wow … can I say freshly-baked? Like any type of cookie as long as it’s straight out of the oven. Or those chocolate chip cookies I used to buy at my high school cafeteria which we like 6 inches across and really oily. Those were so good.
Good Morning,
I hope everyone’s weekend was great.
Thanks for answering the questions David. Collide is a lovely tune.
Good morning Scott. My weekend was … pleasant. I wouldn’t go as far as great. How was yours? Great?

Hi Dar,
My weekend was pretty great. I did lots of yardwork, talked to my Mom for her birthday, watched lots of Frankie & Grace.
Thanks for the May the 4th playlist.
Nice. I got a bit more done back at my house and then had a social distance visit with my sweetie in the backyard. It’s been tough on him all alone. I am living at my sister’s who is immunocompromised so we have been apart for a couple months.
My mother had a scary encounter yesterday on her walk. A large drunk dude grabbed her by the shoulders and was growling like a bear. She pushed him away and he came at her again. My tiny 83 year old, 5 ft 2 in, mother pushed him away again and he rolled down the hill. There were cops on their way there as someone must have called in about the guy. His sweaty face has her concerned now. Frightening!
Enjoy the playlist 😀
Geez that is scary, I’m glad she ok, hopefully it was just the drunk sweats.
I’m sure it is hard for both you & your sweetie. Glad you are taking things seriously though.
Thanks Scott. We just hope it isn’t years!!
I think my brother has convinced Mom to call about testing and the status of that man as well.
Yeah I get that, a couple of months is long enough. Although I don’t know how the pandemic will end. If we have to wait for a vaccine it could be awhile.
Your brother is correct it would be best to see about testing. & about the other guy.
It’s the end of the day here, see you tomorrow.
