Hey Our Basement,

“Goodbyes” pairs ’80s vibes with edgy sad girl pop. It’s my debut single, in which I dramatically throw my tears at the end of a story that needs to be put away.

I was having a conversation with my best friend about the dude I used to date, and how I thought I’d be better at the hard goodbye. I think about bringing a box of your ex’s clothes back to him after a break-up. The cold sadness and loneliness that comes with reminiscing on the memories.

I had the chance to work with the talented Elijah Woods. I recorded “Goodbyes” in his basement where I almost fell asleep on the couch after cuddling his cat, Judy.

I can’t wait for what the future has in store!
